Daily Dose: 3 Things To Sort of Inspire You

I’ve been tired… every. single. day.

I kid you not, by the end of the day I throw myself in bed and I’m exhausted!

Don’t get me wrong, I do get my days of relaxing- but every single day it feels like it’s GO! GO! GO!

And I’m learning to LOVE IT!

I love it because I’m tired at the end of the day because I’ve done so much in one day, and accomplished so many things! And I live by three simple rules.

This is what I do:

1.) DO GREAT THINGS!

I’ll always say this. Do great things! FOR YOU! What makes you feel good about yourself? What brings you happiness at the end of the day? What makes you feel like you accomplished something? DO THIS AT LEAST ONCE EVERYDAY! Whether it’s something small and minuscule (redundant statement or what…). Or it’s something amazing and big! Do it.

I wake up in the morning and the first great thing I do is take care of myself (yeah this is great), I do my oil pulling (do this it’s worth it!), I make my bed, I take my dog for a walk and I make a GREAT breakfast… every freaking morning. I try to eat good big breakfast every morning. It makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something (which I have). It means I woke up EARLIER, so that I have enough time to make something that’s going to give me nutrients and fuel me for the day!

I try to help at least one person everyday. To me, this is doing a great thing. It empowers me to be a better person, and I just love that! And if that means just smiling at one person to cheer them up, then so be it! I’ve done at least one great thing!

So basically, what I am trying to say is that I always try to give 100% when I do something. No matter how minuscule it is. I do it to the best of my ability, and I actually TRY!

2.) STOP EATING CRAP

Man, if there’s one big motivation killer, one big inspiration zapper, one thing that makes you feel like crap… it’s gotta be EATING LIKE CRAP. If I eat like crap, I’m sluggish ALL DAY LONG! It’s terrible. I move slow, my mind thinks slow and I’m lazy. So I fuel my mind and my body with healthy things.

Try avoiding things like SODA! Fast Food. Energy drinks. Chips. Candy. Trash. Trash. Trash… Your body acts like you eat. So if you eat crap (it doesn’t matter if it’s low on carbs/calories WHATEVER), you’re going to FEEL LIKE CRAP!

You are what you eat. Once you look at food like a source of fuel to keep you going, you’ll never look at it the same again.

3.) GET IT ALL DONE RIGHT THEN AND THERE IF YOU CAN!

Ever heard the saying, “Don’t wait until tomorrow what you can do today.”

I LOVE THAT! And I try to live by it. I was always the biggest procrastinator out there. I waited until the very last minute to do everything. But I worked hard to change that habit because holy crap, I would wash the dishes as soon as I was done using them, and there wasn’t a crap ton of dishes piled up in the sink with gunk glued on to them. And I would finish my class work as soon as it got assigned, and my entire weekend was free with no commitments to some Psychology homework.

It’s seriously the most freeing feeling when you just stand up and do what you need to do without putting it off because you want to be lazy.

Sometimes, when I’m scrolling through social media, I see all the funny memes of people being lazy and blah blah blah. And yeah I find it funny, but man… we can get so much done if we just don’t live our lives like that. I would rather be ahead of the game, be happy things are done, than be laying in bed laughing at a meme that I can relate to because I didn’t do anything and it’s stressing me out.

 

And so at the end of every single day, I do the max that I can do with everything and anything. So that I can be successful in my OWN eyes, and feel satisfied and ready to conquer the next day. So with that being said, I’m exhausted, and I’m going to bed right now.
